The beach area is being tested more than the health department requires due to how quickly E-coli can multiply. We test weekly and the new test came back high so the beach will be closed at least for the weekend, then more testing. By then it may be fine again. Who knows?
I would be careful about ingesting lake water anywhere but that should be true at any time.
