Always something to learn

Possibly some of you have heard of this but when I read it Monday it was news to me. How many of you have heard of the great molasses flood of 1919? Yes, I thought it was a joke also but it is not.
On Boston's north end there was a storage tank for molasses that stood five stories high. It suddenly split without warning, sending a wall of molasses forty feet deep and one hundred sixty feet wide pouring into the streets demolishing buildings and drowning people. When it was all over there were twenty one dead and one hundred fifty injured.
