Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to the 400 block of Staffordshire for a male resident with chest pains and trouble breathing. The resident was transported for treatment.
Public Safety responded to the 100 block of Hastings Way for a male resident having difficulty breathing and chest pain. The resident was transported for treatment.
Public Safety responded to the 300 block of Rochester for a female resident who suffered a drug overdose. The resident was transported for treatment.
Public Safety responded to the 100 block of Columbia for a male resident who suffered a possible stroke. The resident was transported for treatment.
Public Safety responded to the 1200 block of Candlewick Dr. for a female resident having chest pain. The resident was transported for treatment.
Suspicious Activity
Public Safety responded to the 400 block of Talladega Dr. for a report of juveniles shooting air soft guns at a vehicle. Upon arrival, Public Safety located a juvenile possessing an air soft gun. A warning was issued.
Public Safety responded to the to the South Gate for a report of a black pickup truck, while tailgating into the complex, struck and broke the gate arm. An investigation is currently being conducted and the pickup is being sought. The gate arm has been replaced.
A Public Safety Officer, while on routine patrol, observed three (3) juveniles running from a vehicle parked in a driveway. This Officer gave chase, Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived to assist and apprehended two (2) of the juveniles for a criminal trespass to motor vehicle. This is excellent case of both Agencies working together. (It should be noted this event occurred during the middle of the afternoon, in daylight) Good Job!
Traffic Incident
Public Safety responded, along with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, for the report of a vehicle striking a Xmas tree which had been lying in the middle of the roadway. A report was made by the Sheriff Deputy.
Noise Complaints
Public Safety responded to the 100 block of Lamplighter Loop for a loud music complaint. Public Safety warned the property owners and the music was turned down.
