Week Ending 06/09/2013
Noise Complaints
Public Safety responded to the 1200 Block of Candlewick for a report of gunshots. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office was notified and the area was checked. Nothing was found indicating the noise was gunshots.
Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to the 100 block of Galahad for a report of a subject dizzy. The subject was transported for treatment.
Public Safety responded to the 600 block of Constitution for a report of a subject having a possible heart attack. The subject was transported for treatment.
Damaged Property
Public Safety responded to a report of damaged property in the 100 block of Balclutha, An unknown vehicle drove off the road creating ruts in the grass on private property. A report was taken and no vehicle was found.
Trespassing
Public Safety responded to the 100 block of Seminole for a report of juveniles trespassing on private property. The juveniles were warned of their actions and parents were notified.
Open Doors
Public Safety responded to several reports of open doors to vacant houses. The Sheriff’s Department was notified and houses were checked and secured.
Public Safety received several reports of mail taken from mailboxes and discarded throughout Candlewick Lake.
The mail recovered was collected and delivered. Should you believe mail was stolen from your mailbox you
should notify the USPS Inspector General at 1-888- 877-7644. Candlewick Public Safety has made notification
to the Inspector General about this incident and the matter will be investigated.
