Special board meeting notes.... short & sweet

Since the pool season is here the board had a special meeting to approve the updated pool rules for the year. With the recommendation of the rec commission the rules will be as follows.....
Ages 10 and over can swim unchaperoned. Those under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a chaperon aged 16 or older.

Conduct was also addressed. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated. It will be a two strikes and out for the season. First offense if a child is involved the amenities card will be taken, the act documented, and the parent contacted to speak with the center manager and retrieve the card. Second offense and the pool is off limits for the season.
Should the offender be an adult they are out for the day, the offense is documented and verbally explained by the center manager. Second offense and the pool is off limits for the season.
We want a safe and welcoming venue for all to enjoy and the board and management are determined to achieve that goal.
Watch for the Candlewick published version for better detail.
