A truly shocking report! (Thanks Barb)

Friday Oct. 11th Lake Management conducted a fish shocking to count and record the number of different fish species and general health of the fish. The shocking temporally stuns the fish which after recording are returned to the lake unharmed.  Our lake biologist Joe Rush and Ryan Foster were in the first boat with the generator and shocking polls netting the stunned fish.  Bob Mchoes, Tom Pinkowski and Lee Odem followed in the second boat netting any fish the first boat missed. Barb Appelhans and Dom Demay were the third boat netting any remaining  missed fish. The netting and recording took almost seven hours with the results being turned over to lake management. Thanks to all the volunteers that took part in this valuable recording of our fish.
