A good cause

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS
FOOD DRIVE FOR NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS
And STOCKING STUFFERS

The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program is moving into Phase II which is a food drive for non-perishable items, especially those which cannot be purchased through the WIC Program or food stamps. These items would include anything non-edible including toiletries and cleaning products. The community is also providing Christmas stockings in the form of holiday zip-lock bags and is looking for donations to fill them as well.
Candlewick Lake has signed up to assist 16 families in need, who reside within Candlewick Lake, by providing the makings of a holiday dinner along with gifts for children. For those who could not part participate in this portion of the program, but would still like to help you may donate a non-perishable food item or stocking stuffer which will added to the dinner boxes. Containers for these donations are located at the Administration Office, Savannah Oaks and the Recreation Center through December 14th
PLEASE NOTE: There are still turkeys, dinners, and tags representing gifts for children aged 17 and younger available at the Recreation Center Activity Desk. Please remember cash donations (You will be given a receipt) are also being accepted at the Recreation Center or Administration Office.
