This morning about 6:30 I saw two eagles gliding and swooping not far off our frontage. One took a plunge at the water with the other close behind then hovered as his talons hit the water. I watched for him to come up with a fish but he flew back up with nothing. I then saw a coot bob to the surface where the eagles had been. I guess the eagles were going for a coot breakfast! Interesting to watch.
