A busier week for Public Safety!

Candlewick Lake Public Safety
WEEKLY REPORT
Week Ending 5-26-15
Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to two (2) medical calls this past week. Two (2) Subjects were transported to the hospital.
Vandalism
Public Safety responded to a call of graffiti in one of our parks.
Damage to a home under construction was found by an Officer. This occurred twice to the same home. Graffiti was found. The investigation continues.
Damage to a mailbox in the 2000 blk. of CWD.
Graffiti to a mailbox in the 600 blk. of CWD.
An unknown vehicle drove through a lawn, across a driveway and through an empty lot. NO actual monetary damage was done.
Traffic
Public Safety and emergency units responded to the area of CWD and CWB for the report of an accident of a vehicle going off road due to an unresponsive driver. This incident is suspected to have occurred due to a medical condition. Capron Rescue responded along with the BCSO.
Another traffic incident occurred when a vehicle drove across a lawn located in the 200 blk. of CWD and struck a vehicle parked in a driveway. This occurred around 4:30 am. The suspect vehicle has not been located.
Missing Person
Public Safety responded to the 2200 blk. of CWD for a missing female youth who had walked away from home. An investigation and search was conducted, the youth was located and returned to her home.
Suspicious Person
A suspicious person was observed taking photos of a residence in the 500 blk. of Bounty. Public Safety was summoned and promptly located the vehicle. The Officer met the driver, who was unidentified. BCSO was summoned. BCSO escorted suspect from the property.
Attempted Vehicle Burglary
Public Safety was dispatched to the 200 blk. of Marquette for a report of person(s) having entered a vehicle parked in a driveway. After meeting with the resident, a search was conducted whereupon our Officer located two (2) males trying to enter another vehicle on Winsap St. The suspects ran and could not be apprehended. The BCSO did use a canine during this call.
Please make sure your vehicles are locked while parked in your driveway overnight. I have warned of this on numerous occasions. We almost caught two (2) thieves again this weekend.
Noise Call
Public Safety responded to the 200 blk. of Pembroke Rd. for loud noises due to youths partying in the street, the result of a loud gathering. The revelers did not immediately cooperate with Public Safety. The BCSO was summoned. The noise abated, the party ended.
Disorderly Conduct
Public Safety responded to the Savanah Oaks golf course for a subject who was upset and refused to pay for the 2ndpassenger in his golf party. The Public Safety Officer explained the golfer’s options, payment was made.
Domestic
Public Safety responded to a report of a domestic in the 100 blk. of Poseidon. Our Officer located the suspect of the domestic walking in the 300 blk. of Talladega. BCSO was summoned. The suspect was arrested by BCSO.
ATVs
Public Safety responded to four ATV (4) calls over the weekend. Please remember, our rules restrict the use of ATVs within the CWL community.
Lake Report
Several warnings were issued for assorted minor infractions. There were no major incidents over the Memorial Day weekend.
