Candlewick Lake Public Safety
WEEKLY REPORT
Week Ending 5/11/2015
Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to four (4) medical calls this past week. Three (3) residents were transported to the hospital. Public Safety also responded to a lift assist.
Fire Alarm
Public Safety responded to a call of a fire alarm at the Rec Center. The Fire Department did respond for a false alarm.
Welfare Check
Public Safety assisted a disoriented subject at the East Gate. It was found this person belonged in Rockford.
Damage to Property
The Public Safety Department responded to a residence on Candlewick Blvd. for a glass door that had just been broken. Juveniles were heard laughing while running from the area. A search could not locate any suspects. Please notify Public Safety or the BCSO if you have information about this incident.
BB Gun Damage
Public Safety responded to the 100 blk. of Queens Place for two (2) residences which had suffered damage to a vehicle and a garage, due to having been shot with a BB gun. These incidents are difficult to solve, therefore we are asking for your assistance.
BB guns are not allowed in CWL. If you observe anyone wielding a BB gun, especially in this area of our community, please summon Public Safety so we may follow up our investigations.
Barking/Loose Dogs
Public Safety responded to six (6) calls of a loose or barking dog this past week. Warning notices and a citation were issued.
Garage Sale Weekend
Our semi-annual garage sale weekend is coming up this week. Please use extra caution due to the many visitors and pedestrians using our roadways. Slow down and drive safe.
