Did you ever wonder?

Why is it that when you look at wall clocks for sale on line or almost any other clock in an ad they are set to 10:10? I have read theories that indicate this is to show a smile rather than a frown. Others say it is so you see the manufacturer's name. You could also see the manufacturer's name at a lot of other times. Just odd.
