Your board has been working tirelessly to cut the losses from Savannah Oaks. Links Management is very familiar with our course and were involved in the inception. They have the equipment we do not have that is needed for maintenance. We have actually been renting some of their equipment in the past and the use of it will now be included in the package. Their people can also handle a lot of the repairs we could not do in-house. Their labor cost will be substantially less than ours. To put it simply we are projecting savings of forty to sixty thousand per year by this new contract.
We were already taking a bite out of the losses and this will add to the gains. It is strictly a financial decision that should help our bottom line. The contract is for one year on the outset but hopefully this will work out well for both parties on a long term basis.
