This year there will be five seats opening up so it will be wide open. This is due to the unusual circumstance last year of me remaining in my seat another year with no election.
I can not say how many of the board members will be running to retain their seats but the board is working pretty well now. Of course there are disagreements on issues but when the dust settles there is no lasting anger or vindictiveness. We move on to the next subject.
If you are willing to put in the time and effort necessary and truly have the best interests of Candlewick at heart I hope you run. Good people are always needed.
Give it some thought, but not too long. All applications must be in by January 15th!
