Rich feels it would be good for our community to have representation on these boards, especially the Planning Commission. He is probably right. Please consider this.

BELVIDERE — Boone County recently announced in a Dec. 9 news release that several volunteer boards now have vacancies.

1. The Capron Cemetery Association has three vacancies for terms that will expire in Feb. 1, 2021;

2. Boone County Regional Planning Commission has two vacancies for terms that will expire Dec. 31, 2016; and

3. Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of Boone has two vacancies for terms that will expire January 2020.

Interested parties should send a letter and resume expressing interest and qualifications to Boone County Board Chairman Bob Walberg, 1212 Logan Ave., Suite 102, Belvidere, IL 61008. Respond by Jan. 2, 2015, to be considered.
