Very, very sorry to say

The location the Capron Rescue Squad wished to use for their new station within Candlewick Lake boundaries was tabled by your board of directors by a vote of 4 to 2 to 1 abstention. I personally feel this is a sad day for especially the older folks who know minutes mean something in a health emergency. I guess it is back to the drawing board again on the issue. More research, more time lapse, and continued longer than necessary service call time. And so it goes.
I should throw this in. This board can debate the heck out of an issue, disagreeing on about everything but the color of the ink on the resolution, then after the meeting we walk out again as friends. That is the way a board should operate. Disagree but keep personal attacks and hard feelings out of the mix. The next issue may have completely different people on different sides.
