More notes from Tuesday's special board meeting

Rabine Paving has agreed to replace under warranty areas that are failing using the original 2" mill and overlay surface as was installed in 2012. We want to go deeper to 4 1/2 inches to avoid any repeated failure in those areas and will spend $4,680. to assure the fix is permanent with the new depth.
The board also authorized the expenditure of $5,000. for road corings to be sure we have a solid base before proceeding with this year's project. There will be eight coring areas going approximately five feet in depth each. The map is below with the boring sites.
The board also authorized up to $50,000. for any necessary road base repairs needed to move forward with this year's road construction.
All these expenditures will come from our reserve account so operating will not be affected. Roads are budgeted as a reserve item yearly.
