The bottom line

I attended the meeting about the tax referendum for the North Boone Fire Protection District Thursday evening. I posted earlier my only concern was (and is) who can respond more quickly in an emergency.
If the referendum passes North Boone will become the primary ambulance provider and if you call 911 they will be sent from Poplar Grove if they are available. The Capron Rescue Squad here in Candlewick will not be sent.
