Candlewick Lake Public Safety
WEEKLY REPORT
Week Ending 11/10/2014
Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to one (1) medical call this past week. This person was transported to the hospital.
Domestic Disturbances
Public Safety responded to several family disputes during this past week. Public Safety was able to assist the BCSO in one and summoned the BCSO to another.
Open Doors on Vacant Houses
Public Safety responded to three separate incidents of doors found to have been open or unlocked on vacant houses with the CWL Community. In each case, the home was checked and the door secured. Please notify Public Safety if you find an open door and see something suspicious at an empty house.
Damage to Stop Signs
Public Safety responded to two (2) cases of damage to stop signs. The first sign was found to be defaced with spray paint. This was not gang related.
The second stop sign appeared to have been run over by a vehicle. The offending vehicle did leave the scene, failing to make a police report.
Vandalism
Public Safety responded to the 300 blk. of CWL for damage to the resident’s trash cans. It is suspected person(s) unknown had driven over the cans while they were empty and still at the street.
Missing Child
The BCSO, accompanied by the CWL Public Safety Department responded to a residence in the early morning hours for a missing child. The child was found in a small grove of trees within common ground, near the residence. The child was unharmed.
