Candlewick Lake Public Safety
WEEKLY REPORT
Week Ending 6-29-2015
Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to two (2) medical calls this past week. Both residents were transported to the hospital.
Disorderly Conduct
Public Safety responded to the vicinity of Candlewick Dr. and Staffordshire to mediate a confrontation between a resident and a construction worker. The Officer spoke with the resident and a witness of the Construction firm. The worker could not be located, he had gone home. A follow up was conducted the next day with the construction supervisor.
Vandalism
Public Safety responded to a report of damage to mailboxes in the 100 blk. of Galleon Run. Officers were able to determine how the damage occurred and who did the damage. The offender agreed to make reparations for the damage and has been billed.
Public Safety responded to a report of mailboxes being damaged in the 200 blk. of Redman Way and 100 blk. of Candlewick Drive. The offenders have not been located. Please notify Public Safety if you see anyone tampering with mailboxes?
Public Safety responded to the 100 blk. of Lamplighter Loop for the report of mailboxes having been knocked down by a vehicle. Upon arrival, neighbors assisted Public Safety in identifying a suspect. BCSO was promptly summoned. The investigation continued. The suspect was located, apparently intoxicated. An arrest was made. Restitution will be sought for the damage with the potential for citations to be issued by Public Safety.
Suspicious Vehicle
Public Safety responded to the field across from the Aqua Plant for a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival two (2) subjects were located, a male and female. The Officer observed the odor of what was suspected to be cannabis. BCSO was summoned and responded. Further investigation by BCSO lead to the arrest of the female suspect for the suspected possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lake Report
Our Lake Patrol did issue several warning this past week. There have not been any significant incidents to be reported this past week.
