Candlewick Lake Public Safety
WEEKLY REPORT
Week Ending 3/2/2015
Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to one (1) medical call this past week. The victim was transported to the hospital.
Theft
Public Safety investigated a theft of firewood from behind the residences located in the 100 blk. of Galleon Run. Suspects were interviewed. There were no admissions. If there is any further missing firewood, the BCSO will be summoned. The results of our investigation will then be presented to the BCSO.
Attempted Vehicle Burglary
Public Safety responded to the 100 blk. of Hastings Way for a suspicious incident. The resident heard noise around his vehicle which was parked in the driveway. He went outside, frightening the intruder. This person had apparently already entered his unlocked vehicle. Nothing of value was taken.
Our Public Safety Officer checked the neighborhood. He found foot prints in the snow leading up to vehicles located in another four (4) driveways. Nothing was missing. Please lock your vehicles and leave nothing of value in the vehicles if they are parked in your driveway. If you hear a noise or see an individual(s) in your driveway, please summon Public Safety and the BCSO immediately.
Traffic
The Public Safety Department responded to the area of Oak Tree Park for a report of a vehicle in a ditch. Tire tracks in the snow revealed the vehicle had been driving all over the roadway before entering the ditch. The Officer did not find anyone in the vicinity of the vehicle. An investigation was conducted and the owner was located and summoned to remove the vehicle. He stated he swerved to avoid a deer. No driving violations could be proven.
Dog Call
There were two (2) loose dog calls this past week.
Lake Patrol
The Public Safety Lake Patrol did check many fishermen this past week. All fishermen were in compliance. No problems.
