You would have to be blind

You must have noticed all the trucks around Candlewick with hoses going down the manholes and many men working. As you probably know, this is AQUA following through on their agreement to check and repair the lines, stopping as much infiltration as possible in order to avoid another scenario like last summer when there was pumping that ended up in our lake. At least there is evidence they are making a sincere attempt. Not to sound negative but realize none of this is free. AQUA is a regulated utility so they are allowed to make a reasonable profit as determined by the ICC. I have no doubt this will be a part of future rate increase requests. Still, it must be done.
