More grant work by Lake Management

The next step being taken on the grant work will be the inventory of erosion in perennial streams flowing into and exiting Candlewick Lake. Nathan explained the procedure of walking the streams and documenting with pictures as well as written copy the extent and locations of erosion. This will encompass the area going through Boone Lake to Beaver Creek as well as those flowing into our lake. Quite a project.
Something that was very impressive to me was when Nathan asked for volunteers to help with the documentation. Hands went up all over the room. He was surprised with the number of people willing to help. These are a dedicated group of individuals and I commend them. This is to start a week from Saturday.
