There is a threat to close the school in Caledonia that most of CWL kids attend I think.
What if we proposed that a new school district be formed that would include the present Caledonia school area, and all of CWL within or boundaries -- including the portion that is now in the North Boone district. If other adjacent areas wished to become part of this new district, it could be considered.
We would have school identity with CWL with our own K-8 grades. H.S. attendance could be at school of families' choice. It could become a gold standard of how kids achieve. There could be immense transportation savings right away.
