Wednesday evening I glanced out our front windows toward the lake and there was a fox by our dock. He moved on and after him came another fox. The two of them were just hanging around for a while. One went under our dock about the time our neighbor let her dogs out. The other took off like a bullet for about 100 yards then stopped and sat. Soon the first fox came out from under our dock and watched the dogs do their business. It next jumped onto our dock and sat leaning against one of the poles. A little later he jumped down, looked around for a while, then trotted off to find his mate, who had moved on.
Just one more reason I love living here. We see so much wildlife. I would bet they are looking for a place to have the little ones this spring. It is about that time.
