Possibly you already knew this

 It was news to me when I found out yesterday we are allowed to put the recyclables into plastic bags before putting them into the container for pick-up. I thought it all had to be loose but they will tear open the bags at the recycler. Using bags, even plastic store bags, will possibly help with the loose trash that seems to pop up by the roads after garbage day. Just a thought.
