A little trick I learned

Some years ago we rented a private cabin yearly in northern Wisconsin for vacations. The water supply was full of iron from the private well and the inside of the stool would turn red from the iron. The owner asked us to flush and let the bowl empty by stopping the water coming in through the mechanism in the tank. Then squeeze some "The Works" bowl cleaner in and brush a little and all the red would disappear like magic.
This came to mind after hearing of some who have had staining problems from the iron in our water after the iron filter was not used for a while. Try it. The Works...works!
