Tuesday roads commission meeting

We could still use a couple more members so if anyone wishes to email me or the general manager we can fill you in on the specifics of the commission duties.
 The decision was made to hire a project coordinator this year to oversee the project. We tried to handle it using just the ADHOC last year and it was difficult. We want professional oversight for your road project to assure a quality job.
 We are fortunate to have a maintenance manager here who is well trained in road work so he also will be heavily involved along with the commission and our maintenance supervisor. All can see the terrible deterioration of our roads this spring along with all other roads in northern Illinois. It has been a tough freeze/thaw spring.
 Although I would prefer a non-board member to head the commission it appears it will be me again this year chairing along with the vice chairman, Randy Budreau. Don Parisi has agreed to be secretary.
 Many issues were discussed so we are laying the groundwork for a productive year.
