This is Joe Rush, our lake manager, explaining the grant application process and proposal at the meeting.
Joe will be the face of Candlewick if the board votes to go for the planning grant then the implementation grant later. He will be contacting adjoining landowners and other involved entities as the plan progresses.
Rebecca Olson is the grant writer and is also in charge of a lot of the planning along with Joe. Both have years of experience in lake ecology and management. Rebecca is also the lead in supplying the correct plantings for the burned areas.
Looks like both of them need to cheer up! <grin>
These are a few of the folks at the meeting last night. Lake management voted at the meeting to recommend to the board we proceed with the aforementioned processes.
