A setback for the ice fishermen

 

Last winter

The warm weather, rain, and wind opened up some of the lake again. Possibly some of the sheltered bays will be all right but I sure wouldn't trust the ice at this point and this weekend they are talking forty degrees one day. Better safe than sorry. Hang in there guys (& gals) the solid freeze will be soon.

(Update) I drove around the lake Wednesday and the dip is wide open water. Fisherman's Cove has ice but I would bet anything with runoff it is really thin. I wouldn't go near any ice on the lake.
