Legal committee open meeting last night

Some pretty good news. It was publicly announced AQUA has agreed in writing to never again pump from their system into our lake or ditches. A resolution will be sent to (and I am sure passed by) the board of directors dictating very substantial fines for AQUA or anyone else dumping harmful materials into our lake. Another couple of resolutions will be going to the board indicating procedures for resident notification of any potential health hazard. Every problem with AQUA is not solved but this is certainly covering a lot of the bases. Things are moving forward.
The last item acted upon was the dissolution of the committee. It's work is finished. The CC&Rs are now in the process of being filed, the final touches were put on the letter going out with the rewritten By-Laws, and the Rules & Regs will be handled by the staff, board, and input from commissions. By unanimous vote the committee is now finished.This is good. One less meeting to attend!
