Some algae has been forming in the "dip" and Fisherman's Cove. It is being sprayed as well as the ditch across from the "dip" to try to get ahead of the game. The skimmer will be out if and when it accumulates.
Last year it started so early and this year it is even earlier due to the warm winter. Every effort will be made to stay ahead of the game. Remember though, we must not get so close to the bank that we hit retaining rocks or it will ruin the belt on the skimmer and it will be out of service.
Ballot counting was today (Saturday) and guess what! All the candidates won. WOW
