Disturbing facts from this week's Barrons

 I was surprised to read 100,000 people each year die from infections caught in hospitals in this country. That is twice as many as die in traffic accidents. Add to that another 100,000 that die due to misdiagnosis, botched procedures, and general malpractice. Surprising numbers I really do not like to see.
