During
the property owner input section of the meeting Rich Witt thanked our
maintenance department and management for bringing mulch grindings to
his new trail as well as their help grinding the branches he had cut
making the trail.
Lisa
Sullivan commented upon a serious problem with speeders in her
neighborhood and asked for action to eliminate the problem. This will
be handled by our General Manager along with the public safety
commission and public safety department.
There
was a long board discussion about the condition in which the Dockside
Grill was left. It had not been thoroughly cleaned and brought up to
standard. The board voted to allow a cleaning service to sanitize the
kitchen completely at a cost of $3,192.00, which will be billed to
the previous occupant.
It
was also decided effective December 6th only groups
recognized by Candlewick commissions, committees, and the board will
be allowed to use our kitchen. There will be a cleaning deposit
required to assure the kitchen will be left in good order.
Individuals can still rent the multi-purpose room for gatherings and
parties as has been the rule but any liquor served will have to be
provided by those participating and none of it can be sold at the
gathering. The liquor must be consumed only in the multi-purpose
room.
The
board next adjourned the meeting to go into executive session to
discuss collections.
