Obamacare exempted groups

In just 14 months, Americans will be required to prove that they have federally "qualified" health insurance or face an Obamacare tax of $695 to $2,085. That is unless you are in prison, below the poverty line, or are an undocumented immigrant, according to the anti-tax group Americans for Tax Reform.
When added together, those three groups total up to one-sixth of the nation's population of 314 million: 218,929 are in federal prisons, 12 million are illegals and 42 million are below the poverty line and eligible for welfare, though some fit into all three categories, according to federal reports.
You will have to buy it or pay a penalty but they won't. Hmmmm    Ken

Wednesday fish stocking

Lake Management Commission turned out on a chilly Halloween morning to watch as Logan Hollow fish farm delivered 1,500 Channel Catfish, 3000 Walleye and 2000 Perch all 8-10 inches in size. Thanks to residents turning in their aluminum cans and Lake Management we should have a great fishing season next year.

Don’t want to be bored? Run for the board!

You probably saw the front page article in the Candlewick Paper written by Chuck Corso (board secretary) about the call for candidates to run for the three board seats coming open next spring. All three seats are for three year terms.
If you enjoy spending one heck of a lot of time in meetings and doing prep work this is your thing. You will take a lot of flak for your votes but if you go with your heart and vote knowing you are doing what you feel is best for all you will be able to handle it.
Friendship must not be allowed to take a roll in your decisions. It has to be fact and research based. You will learn the inner workings of your association. You will be expected to be able to answer questions from the P.O.s or be willing to find out the answers.
You can expect the elation when things go well but also the down time when they do not. It is quite a ride but the rewards make it worthwhile.
Consider it. Your association needs you.

Trick or treat is over, but Happy Halloween!

The new beginning

Kind of looks like the old one, doesn't it? Please be sure to bookmark this site so you can find it easily.
I have stated before and I will again, the Pride Group is made up of the some of the finest folks I have ever met. The Pride is strong and involved but not in this site. This is my baby, sink or swim. I intend to be blunt and opinionated as well as bringing you the pictures, news, and updates you have expected in the past.
Thanks for tuning in. The show starts Wednesday.
Good to "see" you.   Ken
